Ms. Machunga is an accomplished oil and gas expert and is currently CEO of Jalz Energy Limited, and Managing Director, of Associated Oil & Gas Services Limited (An exploration company recently awarded Top Shot marginal field by the Federal Government for development). She was in the employment of NNPC/NAPIMS for twenty-one years before her retirement.

She graduated from Ahmadu Bello University and attended the prestigious Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, United Kingdom where she bagged a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Science. She also studied at the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford, United Kingdom where she was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Management with a specialization in Trading, Supply, and Distribution.

Ms. Machunga is a member of the Institute of Petroleum (IP), United Kingdom, Nigeria Gas Association, and Energy Club, Nigeria where she served as the President from 2001 – 2003.  Ms Machunga has attended many courses, workshops and seminars both locally and internationally and has written and presented over 30 topical papers on Oil and Gas.
